Lakshadweep: Best Time to Visit
Lakshadweep is relatively pleasant throughout the year, but you may want to pick a time that suits your budget and preferences. According to our research, here’s what we have found:
1.Peak Season – October to March
The months between October and March are considered peak season. The weather is pleasantly cool, ranging between 22° to 30°C. If you’re an adventurous spirit and plan to engage in some water sports in Lakshadweep, this is the best time of year to visit.
You can enjoy activities like snorkeling, kayaking, diving, and more!
However, since this is the peak season, you can expect the flight and resort prices to be higher compared to the rest of the year. Lakshadweep can also be more crowded at this time of the year.
2.Shoulder Season – April to September
Prices are slightly more budget-friendly during this season, which makes it a popular choice for people trying to save money. The weather is still warm and suitable for water activities. The popular places are less crowded. The beach-side resorts in Lakshadweep will have fewer people and you’ll have more peace to enjoy the scenery.
However, you can expect occasional rain and the sea may be unsuitable for diving during this season.
3.Monsoon – June to August
Monsoon is the most affordable season. Lakshadweep gets a lot of rain and has some lush greenery around this time of year. If you’re not a fan of water sports or adventure activities, monsoon may be the best time to visit for you. The resorts and local attractions are very cheap and you practically have the entire place to yourself.
However, expect ample rain during this time. You may have limited time for outdoor activities and exploration. Beaches may also be off-limits from time to time.
If you have room in your budget, try visiting during the peak season. If you are on a tight budget, shoulder and monsoon seasons are ideal. The best time to visit Lakshadweep varies from one person to another. Just pick a time that suits your requirements.
